Timecode positions that are dropped are as follows: two every minute, on the minute, for the first nine of every ten minutes of recorded content. For example, at 01:04:59:29, the next timecode position would be 01:05:00:02, not 01:05:00:00. All commands that use position values will assume SMPTE format.

Restarting the audio server may fix it for a bit. This is a temporary solution.
* Right click on taskbar and select the task manager. Go to the services tab, locate “Audiosrv” (the Windows Audio Server), and click Stop then Restart it.
* If you could not restart it from from Task Manager, try another method. Press Win + R from keyboard, type services.msc and hit Enter. In the right pane, scroll down to locate the Windows Audio Server entry, double click on it, change its Startup type to Automatic, click Start button, then click OK button.
